Heb 1:8 Thy throne O God Annointing
Hebrews 1:8 KJV
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
So here none less than God the Father speaking (v5) using the worshipful phrase “O God” to address Jesus.
Whose throne? Christ’s throne.
Hebrews 1:9 KJV
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
(the constext of “even thyy God” was during his incarnation as a man)
In A.D. 27, Jesus at His baptism received the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and soon afterward began His ministry. Then the message was proclaimed, “The time is fulfilled.” The Desire of Ages, 232-234.
