Fake Love Spiritualism

The false “Love Gospel” overlooks sound Biblical doctrine in order to promote unity and loves the sinners straight to hell by not telling them the truth.

God exposes the sin so that He can call the sinner to repentance and save. This false Love Gospel perverts God’s Word by twisting scripture to suit an agenda. Sound doctrine is ignored in order to justify unity and to tolerate doctrinal error for the sake of peace.

1 Timothy 4:1 1. Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils are coming into the Churches in droves and rather than rejecting them and standing for truth, the “Love’ Gospel ” promotes unity over truth.

Galations 1:9-10 If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. Isaiah 6:3

God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. 1 John 4:16

One of the main reasons why the church is in a spiritual crisis is because many of our members are standing in two different camps. On one side is the love camp love and on the other side is the holiness (which includes love) camp. The reason why the church is divided today is because we have separated God’s love from His holiness. Love without holiness degenerates into sentimentalism and lawlessness where sin is no longer sinful and morality doesn’t mean anything. The result is an “anything goes” theology in which nothing is sacred anymore. It is of vital importance to the life and spirituality of our faith that we affirm both love and holiness – simultaneously. Many Christians have convinced themselves that they can somehow celebrate and exalt God’s love while ignoring or downplaying His holiness. God’s attributes and character cannot be divided. He is love and He is holy or He is not God – at least not the God of the Bible. To seek to remove the holiness of God from the love of God is to distort the God of heaven. We mar the character of God and He then becomes a god of our own making and not the true God of Heaven.

Should the church succeed in shutting out the holiness of God from the people and instead focus only on His love – what would be the result? We would create a church that on the surface seems compassionate, kind and attractive; but it would also be a church that is unable to deal with the great moral crisis of our time. We would not be able to resist the onslaught of transgressions that the devil would bring upon us. We might display an external attraction but we would not have the moral capacity to resist wrong, call sin by its name or seek to remove it from our midst.

While it (Spiritualism) formerly denounced Christ and the Bible, it now professes to accept both. But the Bible is interpreted in a manner that is pleasing to the unrenewed heart, while its solemn and vital truths are made of no effect. Love is dwelt upon as the chief attribute of God, but it is degraded to a weak sentimentalism making little distinction between good and evil. God’s justice, his denunciations of sin, the requirements of his holy law, are all kept out of sight. The people are taught to regard the decalogue as a dead letter. Pleasing, bewitching fables captivate the senses, and lead men to reject the Bible as the foundation of their faith. Christ is as verily denied as before; but Satan has so blinded the eyes of the people that the deception is not discerned. Great Controversy 558
