Godhead Definition. The closest corresponding term in the classical and modern languages of Jewish scholarship is (elohut), meaning deity (essential nature of god) or divinity. The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost form a group known as the Godhead. Each member is a distinct, individual being, yet all three are one, being united in thought, desire, knowledge, power, and purpose.
