Distinct, Personifies, Holy Spirit Jesus distinct from  the Father.

The Holy Spirit represents both Christ and the Father but is a different Person. When He represents Christ He is described as the Spirit of Christ. When representing the Father, He is called the Spirit of the Father. When representing the Godhead, then the Spirit of God.

Christ distinct from Father

“Christ is one with the Father, but God and Christ are two distinct personages. Read the prayer of Christ in the seventeenth chapter of John, and you will find this point clearly brought out. How earnestly the Saviour prayed that His disciples might be one with Him as He was one with the Father. But the unity that is to exist between Christ and His followers does not destroy the personality of either.” {Ms58-1905.14}

The Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, existed from eternity, a distinct person, yet one with the Father. He was the surpassing glory of heaven. He was the commander of the heavenly intelligences, and the adoring homage of the angels was received by Him as His right. This was no robbery of God.  1SM 247

In the Father’s bosom means in a close relationship with the Father.

This one quote by EG White explains how the Holy Spirit who is a distinct person can become Christ to us by personification.

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, in Christ’s name. He personifies Christ, yet is a distinct personality. Ms93.1893.8

Because Christ, in his voluntary incarnation is no longer omnipresent therefore through the Holy Spirit he can manifest himself.
