My God and Your God
This was the words that Mary was told to say to the brethren. ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
How can Jesus be God if he has a God? Because this is in the context of the incarnation. The main assumption behind objections like this one is that God can only be one person. But because God is more than one person, then the Son can both acknowledge his Father as God while still being God himself. Even the Father uses the worshipful phrase “O God” when addressing Jesus.
Hebrews 1:8 KJV
