Godhead Misc Notes
The anti-trinitarians are throwing out the baby wiath the bathwater. Instead of attacking the Catholic false trinity, they are trying to destroy the true Godhead of the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy. The Catholic trinity and the Adventist Godhead are very different. If they haven’t noticed this yet then there is partly where their problem lies.

The Adventist Godhead and the Catholic trinity are very different doctrines but the anti-trinitarians want you to believe that they are the same when they are not.
Some are bitter people because they feel they have been wronged by their former brethren who did not accept their teachings.
Whatever the way they may have been treated, they should not let their feelings of bitterness stand in the way of accepting the truth.

Your understanding of the Godhead is strikingly similar to the Roman Catholic trinity. Most likely it originated in Rome and is peddled to a small group of offshoot SDAs by the jesuits. The main difference between your doctrine and Rome is that you are hung up on the word trinity which is a generic word that simply means “trio”. Trinity is often used in the non religious world to indicate a threesome, group of three or trio.
Are you baptised in the name of The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?

Twisting the Scriptures.
What you are doing now is twisting the scriptures to have it say whatever you want it to while ignoring the clear teaching of the Bible. Where you reject the plain, straightforward meaning of the text and replace it with your own meaning. Don’t interpret the Scriptures to suit your opinions and preferences. Don’t twist the Scriptures by adding to them or removing from them to make them say what they do not say. Have you ever had someone try to use Scripture to explain something, and you just know he’s abusing the passage. The Jehovahs Witnesses often do this. To properly understand a text you must take it in its context. There is also the need to understand what the Bible generally says about a subject to get a balanced view of it. Therefore to take one or two verses on a subject and use them to interpret all the other verses according to their own position, is not the right way to interpret the Bible.
What is occurring now is twisting of the scriptures to have it say whatever we want it to while ignoring the clear teaching of the Bible. The Jehovah’s Witnesses often do this. We must not add or remove from them to make them say what they do not say.
